Israel will sell the Arrow-3 missile defence system to Germany. The United States has approved the deal.
This is stated on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Defence.
The deal is worth $3.5 billion. The full contract will be ready for signing by the end of 2023.
Negotiations on Germany's purchase of this system began shortly after the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
The deal will be signed by the Israeli and German defence ministries and Israel Aerospace Industries.
The Israeli Ministry of Defence called the agreement "historic" because it is the largest security deal in the country's history.
