UN has documented over 90 cases of violence since the beginning of the full-scale invasion

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights continues to document human rights violations. More than 90 cases of violence have been documented since 24 February 2022.

According to UN Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo, the crimes fall into two categories. The first category, which is the majority, is torture methods, which mainly concerns men.  The second category is sexual violence, including rape, particularly against women and girls in the territories controlled by Russia.

"It is imperative that all perpetrators of human rights violations are held accountable ," DiCarlo said.
