Ukrainian troops repelled Russian attacks near Kupiansk, Zaitseve and Novomykhailivka, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russians launched four rocket and seventeen airstrikes, and fired more than twenty-four multiple rocket launchers at military and civilian targets. 

Ukrainian aviation hit ten areas of manpower and military equipment concentration and two SAM positions. Air defence units destroyed two Russian UAVs. Missile forces and artillery struck four control points, two areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, three air defence positions, an artillery position, and three ammunition depots.
