Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina defeated "neutral" Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the second round of the US Open.

Elina Svitolina is the only representative of Ukraine to reach the third round at the US Open tennis championships in 2023.
The match with Pavlyuchenkova ended with a score of 2:1 (5:7, 6:4, 6:4).
In the third round of the US Open, Elina Svitolina will play against world number three Jessica Pegula.
