Ukrainian rescuers start recovery work in Slovenia

Ukrainian rescuers have begun restoration work in Slovenia, which was affected by floods.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
51 Ukrainian rescuers and 19 units of equipment arrived in the country.
They will carry out work near the village of Rečica.
Two main locations have been identified for Ukrainian rescuers to work in the Dreta Riverbed. The main tasks are to build a dam for bank protection, widen and change the riverbed, drain the water, and clear the riverbed of trees and debris brought by the water.
The work will last for several days.
In August, Slovenia was hit by heavy rains, which caused flooding.
