Ukrainian Navy announces new temporary corridors for civilian vessels sailing to and from Ukrainian seaports

The Ukrainian Navy has announced new temporary routes for civilian vessels sailing from and to Ukrainian seaports.

This was reported by the Navy's press service.

The routes remain subject to military and mine threats from Russia.

"Only vessels whose owners/captains officially confirm they are ready to sail in the current conditions will be allowed to use the routes," the Navy adds.

The last Ukrainian food ship left the port of Odesa on July 16. After that, Russia announced its withdrawal from the Black Sea Initiative.

As a reminder, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced that he is seeking to resume the Black Sea grain deal with an "expanded scope".
