Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a command post of Russian troops near Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea
On January 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a command post of Russian troops near Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
It happened around 15:00 (Kyiv time) on January 4.
The Krym.Realii project reported that ten explosions were heard over Sevastopol. Local Telegram channels also reported explosions in Yevpatoria and Balaklava.
The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, thanked the pilots of the Air Force and "everyone who planned the operation for their impeccable combat work".
"On January 2, the Ministry of Lies of the Russian Federation (meaning the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation — ed.) reported that Russian missiles had hit a 'bunker with Deputy Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi and nine other generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine'... I expect the same epic report from the enemy propaganda from Sevastopol and Yevpatoria on January 4," Oleshchuk wrote.
He also attached a video and a screenshot from the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, which indicate that a Russian air defence unit was hit near the village of Uiutne (the Sakskyi district) near Yevpatoria.
So far, Ukrainian officials have not officially provided details of the attack.
