Ukrainian actress Rita Burkovska wins the Best European Actress at the Septimius Awards ceremony

Rita Burkovska, the lead actress in the film Butterfly Vision, has won the Septimius Awards.

The Septimius Awards is an awards ceremony that pays special attention to discovering and encouraging new independent talent, supporting fantastic films and bringing together all elements of filmmaking and storytelling, including fiction, non-fiction, animation, TV series and screenplays.

The film Butterfly Vision is a portrait of a Ukrainian warrior. Telling the story of one indomitable woman, it touches on many topics, from equality in the army to the adaptation of former prisoners of war. The activities of the Women's Veterans Movement focus on these issues. The film features members of the VETERANKA movement who participated in combat operations: paramedic Kateryna Pryimak and scout and medical instructor Alina Hordieieva.
