Ukrainian air defence destroys one Russian missile and six drones in Dnipro region

In total, on the night of February 12, Ukrainian air defence destroyed 14 out of 17 Shaheds and one X-59 guided missile. The air targets were eliminated in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions. 

Russians fired artillery, CABs, S-300s and mortars at approximately 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region, which borders Russia to the east. Lyptsi, Slobozhanske, Liubotyn, Vovchansk and Borova came under Russian fire. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure were damaged. There were no civilian casualties.

The Russian army attacked the Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts in the Donetsk region, which has been partially temporarily occupied since 2014 and where the frontline is located. Three people were injured in Selidove. The Kurakhove, Mariinka, Mykolaiivka, Lyman, Kostiantynivka, Soledar, Chasiv Yar and Zvanivka communities also came under fire. Residential buildings, a gas pipeline and an administrative building were damaged.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukrainian air defence destroyed a missile over the Novomoskovsk district and six drones over Pavlohrad district. A fire broke out at an energy facility as a result of the drone attack. Approximately 29,000 customers in the Pavlohrad district suffer power outages, and another 10,000 in Ternivka have no water supply. Power engineers are working to restore the networks. The Russians also launched heavy artillery attacks on the Nikopol district, which borders the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region across the Dnipro river.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, part of which has been temporarily occupied since 2024, Russians struck 199 times in 22 settlements. The military attacked Novodarivka, Robotyne, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne and other frontline towns and villages with aerial shells, MLRS, UAVs and artillery. Residential buildings were destroyed.

Russians conducted 32 attacks in the de-occupied part of the Kherson region, firing 194 shells using artillery, mortars, tanks, MLRS, UAVs and aircraft. Residential areas in the region were hit, as well as a medical facility and port infrastructure in Kherson. Three people were injured. 

On the night of February 12, Ukrainian air defence destroyed four Shahed 131/136 UAVs in the Mykolaiv region, in the south of Ukraine. In addition, the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities came under Russian fire. There were no casualties in the region.

Russians fired twice at the border communities of Krasnopillia and Nova Sloboda, Sumy region, which borders Russia to the north.

Russians fired mortars and cannon artillery at the border villages of Hremiach, Buchky and Kliusy, Chernihiv region, which borders Belarus and Russia. Ukrainian border guards recorded about 29 explosions.
