Ukraine will receive first tanks from Germany in three months

German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius stated this, as quoted by the German public broadcaster ARD.

The Bundeswehr plans to start training the Ukrainian military "very quickly."

It is noted that initially Germany will provide relatively new tanks from Bundeswehr warehouses in order to be able to deliver the first battalion to Ukraine together with its partners. Later, they will deliver somewhat older tanks.

"The goal is to be able to provide as soon as possible," the minister said, as quoted by the publication.

Moreover, according to them, Pistorius announced further negotiations with partners on the planned deliveries.
