Ukraine returns bodies of 50 fallen Ukrainian servicemen

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War has returned 50 bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

The headquarters' press service reports.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine will ensure the proper and safe transportation of the repatriated persons for transfer to law enforcement officials and forensic experts to organise and conduct investigative actions and forensic examinations," the statement says.

The exchange took place with the participation of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

It will be recalled that in October, Ukraine managed to return the bodies of 64 fallen soldiers.
