Ukraine returns 45 militaries of the Armed Forces, National Guard, State Border Guard Service and two civilians from captivity

Among them are two officers, 41 privates and sergeants, a militant of the territorial defence unit from Kherson, and a civilian employee of Azovstal. There are some wounded.

This was reported by the Head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak.

Among the released soldiers are those from the Donetsk, including Bakhmut, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv directions.

Children illegally deported to Russia were also returned to Ukraine.

Among them are a 6-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. Their mother, a combat medic, was released during the exchange in October 2022.
