Ukraine returns 106 people from Russian captivity and repatriates three bodies
Ukraine has returned from Russian captivity eight officers and 98 soldiers and sergeants who fought in the Bakhmut area. The bodies of two foreigners and a Ukrainian woman were also repatriated.
This was reported by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak and the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
68 of the liberated soldiers were considered missing.
Among the released servicemen, 98 belong to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Seven border guards and one serviceman of the State Special Transport Service were also returned.
Seven of the exchanged persons have injuries and wounds.
