Ukraine prepares urgent evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is preparing an urgent evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from the Gaza Strip.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel announced this on the air of the telethon.

Ukrainians will be taken to Egypt. Ukrainian diplomats will meet them there.

The evacuation is scheduled to take place by Thursday, October 12. The ambassador called on citizens to inform him of their desire to evacuate, as it would not be possible to evacuate during the Israeli army's ground operation.

It will be recalled that on October 7, Hamas militants fired missiles at Israel and launched an attack on the border crossings between the country and the Gaza Strip. In response, Israel launched an operation against the militants.
