Ukraine informed the IAEA about repeated shelling of the Zaporizhzhia NPP site in recent days

The head of the IAEA, Rafael Mariano Grossi, said that he was informed about the situation at the nuclear power plant.

Grossi also notes that he is continuing consultations with all parties to organize an IAEA expert mission to the ZNPP in the next few days to ensure nuclear and physical security.

It should be reminded that on August 27, the Russians once again shelled the ZNPP site, which is why the plant operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety regulations.
