Ukraine appeals to UNESCO to protect the Khan's Palace in temporarily occupied Bakhchisarai

The Russians are destroying it under the guise of "restoration": they destroyed the Golden Cabinet of Krym-Gerai Khan, completely dismantled the roof of the palace and stained glass windows.

The Khan's Palace is the only surviving example of Crimean Tatar palace architecture and is therefore an important symbol for the Crimean Tatars.
