UK and Poland to jointly create towns for internally displaced persons

Poland and the United Kingdom will build two villages for Ukrainian IDPs in the Lviv and Poltava regions — the website of the British government.

About 700 people will be able to live in these settlements.

The UK plans to allocate £10 million in funding for the construction.

"For the past year, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin has continued to target civilian homes and infrastructure, with the Ukrainian people paying a heavy price. This new UK-Poland partnership will help bring light, heat and homes to those most in need," Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said, as quoted by Sky News.
