Two rescuers sustain injuries while extinguishing a fire in the Kharkiv region. Shelling leaves 19 civilians wounded, including two children

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Balakliia, and Novoosynove.  As a result of the shelling, five private houses, an outbuilding, trees, and shrubs over an area of 150 square metres were burned. Eight private houses and six cars were damaged. A rescue vehicle exploded while extinguishing one of the fires. As a result, two rescuers were injured. Nineteen civilians got injured, including children aged four and fourteen.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians attacked Lobkove, Piatykhatky, Novoandriivka, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Poltavka, Stepnohirsk, Preobrazhenka, and Prymorske. The Russian army used air strikes, UAVs, artillery, and MLRS. In total, 335 attacks were recorded over the day.

Private houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged, and a fire broke out. Three employees of the State Emergency Service suffered injuries during the enemy attack on Stepnohirsk.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, Russia attacked Nikopol and the communities of Pokrovske, Marhanets, Myrove, and Chervonohryhorivka. The Russian army used artillery and UAVs to launch the attacks.

A five-storey building,  four private houses, an outbuilding, infrastructure, a private enterprise, an outpatient department, a truck, a gas pipeline, and a power line were damaged. The shelling caused several fires.

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, Russia shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery. Eight UAVs were shot down over the region at night. The falling debris in the Mykolaiv district damaged about 15 residential buildings and outbuildings and caused a dry grass fire. No casualties were reported.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russian army attacked the communities of Sumy,  Verkhnia Syrovatka, Stepanivka, Mykolaivka, Bilopillia, Kransopillia, Putyvl, Nova Sloboda, Berezivka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Svesa, Druzhba, and Znob-Novhorod. For the attacks, Russia used UAVs, mortars, MLRS, artillery, and guided aerial bombs. A total of 261 attacks were recorded per day.

Thirteen civilians were injured, and four were killed as a result of the missile strikes.

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians fired Kherson, Shliakhove, Dudchany, Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Yantarne, Zolota Balka, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Tomaryne, Mykhailivka, Novotiahynka, Burhunka, Zmiivka, Blahovishchenske, Sadove, and Prydniprovske. Critical infrastructure facilities, two multi-storey buildings, 26 private houses, garages, and cars were damaged. Nine civilians were wounded, including one child.

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline, Russia attacked Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Ukrainsk, Chasiv Yar, Raihorodok, Dibrova, Kotlyne, and Uspenivka.

Twelve residential buildings, a hotel, trade pavilions, cars, and critical infrastructure were damaged. Five civilians were injured, and seven were killed. A total of 2,871 attacks were recorded over the day.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russian army shelled Pushkari, Hremiach, Kovpynka, Karpovychi, Bleshnia, Prohres, Khrinivka, and Hasychivka. The Russians attacked with mortars, cannon artillery, drones, and FPV drones. A total of 81 explosions were recorded. 

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians fired on Nevske, Makiivka, Stelmakhivka, and Kuzemivka. Russia used cannon artillery and 88 drones. The Russian army also used multiple launch rocket systems to strike near Kuzemivka.
