Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during which the leaders discussed a number of issues

The press service of the President of Türkiye reported this.

The parties discussed Türkiye's humanitarian and energy assistance to Ukraine and the development of the grain corridor.

"During the meeting, President Erdogan said that as Türkiye, they are ready to take on the task of facilitating and mediating in establishing a lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine," the ministry said.

The Turkish side also offered diplomatic assistance regarding the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
