Three killed and 12 wounded as a result of Russian shelling in the Donetsk region

The Ukrainian Air Force shot down 13 of 14 Russian attack UAVs in the Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad and Rivne regions.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Kharkiv, Izium, as well as the districts of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk. A resident of Mala Danilivka was injured. Residential buildings, outbuildings and an educational institution were damaged.

The Russian army attacked Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts in the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine. One person was killed in Selydove, and another was injured. In addition, seven people were wounded in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and one in Kostiantynivka. Two people died in Toretsk, and three were wounded. Residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. 

In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Russian troops fired 296 times at eight settlements in the region. Russians used UAVs, MLRS and artillery. Residential buildings were damaged. 

The Russian army attacked Prydniprovske, Ivanivka, Oleksandrivka, Komyshany, Beryslav, Kherson and other settlements in the Kherson region, which has been partially occupied since 2022. Residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged. One person was killed. 

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, Ukrainian air defence destroyed 11 Russian UAVs. In addition, Russians attacked the Ochakiv community with a kamikadze drone. A fire broke out. There were no casualties. 

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia, Russian troops fired 25 times at border areas and settlements. Ukrainian border guards recorded 89 explosions. In addition, on May 29, the Russians launched a missile attack on the Krasnopillia community. According to preliminary information, two people were killed, and three others were injured. The community centre and administrative buildings were damaged. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in the southcentral Ukraine, the Russians attacked Nikopol, the communities of Myrove and Marhanets. Residential buildings were damaged. A fire broke out. Power lines were damaged. No one was killed or injured.

During the day, the Russian army shelled the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities in the Chernihiv region, bordering Russia and Belarus in the north of Ukraine. The Russians used cannon artillery and an FPV drone. Ukrainian border guards recorded 42 explosions. One man died in hospital as a result of the shelling.
