Three children among seven people killed in Russian missile attack on Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia region
The Russians launched a double attack on Vilniansk. Thirty-eight people sustained injuries, twelve people were taken to the hospital. Those injured have shrapnel wounds. The city's residential buildings, shops, public buildings, critical infrastructure and vehicles were damaged.
In addition, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Preobrazhenky, Verkhnia Tersa, Novopavlivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Malynivka and Levadne came under attack in the Zaporizhzhia region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022. There were 37 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
The Russian troops conducted 2,629 attacks in the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine. Vuhledar, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Selidove, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Zarechne, Kurakhivka, New York, Pivnichne, Shcherbynivka, Leonidivka, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Torske came under attack. 67 residential buildings, businesses, administrative buildings, a gym, a shop, and cars were damaged. Eight people were killed and 14 injured.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Kivsharivka, Kruhliakivka, Derhachi, Osynove, Odnorobivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi came under attack. Private houses, outbuildings, an enterprise, and a farm were damaged, and four people were injured.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the border areas were shelled 21 times over the past day. The military recorded 123 explosions. The Khotin, Bilopillia, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Yunakivka, and Shalyhyne communities were under fire. There were no casualties.
In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians fired at Antonivka, Shyroka Balka, Dariivka, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Dniprovske, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Novodmytrivka, Naddniprianske, Novotiahynka, Beryslav, Tyahynka, Zolota Balka, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Novoberyslav, Olhivka, Mykhailivka, Virivka, Tomaryne, Burhunka, Kozatske and Kherson. Two apartment blocks, 11 private houses and cars were damaged. A shop and a garage were hit.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, southcentral Ukraine, Russian attacks were carried out on Pokrovske, Myrivska, Marhanetska, and Nikopol communities, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. A man suffered injuries. Eight private houses, an outbuilding, a greenhouse, three trucks and solar panels were damaged.
