The Verkhovna Rada votes for immediate opening of electronic declarations
The Parliament has voted to open the register of electronic declarations immediately.
This was reported by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
341 People's Deputies voted in favour.
"The amendments provide for the immediate opening of declarations. This time, the entire hall [of the Verkhovna Rada] was totally in favour of openness," Zhelezniak wrote.
It will be recalled that on September 5, the Parliament returned electronic declaration during martial law but closed the registers of declarations for another year.
The next day, a petition was registered on the President's website demanding that the bill be vetoed. The petition gained the required 25,000 votes in three hours.
On September 12, Volodymyr Zelenskyy vetoed the law with the closed register of declarations, saying that the Verkhovna Rada should vote for the bill with this particular amendment.
