The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine restores electronic declaration during martial law, but the declaration register will be closed for another year

The Verkhovna Rada has passed a bill to restore the declaration system in general.

People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak reported this.

The bill received 329 votes in favour.

The Verkhovna Rada took into account the following amendments to the draft law:

• Clarification of the list of those who fall under anti-corruption legislation;

• Failure to list property in one section is not considered a crime;

• Property that has been declared for several years cannot be re-checked.

At the same time, the register of declarations remains closed for another year. The MP is convinced that the law will receive a "technical veto" because of the closed registers.

"I'm not sure that this will be counted as fulfilment of one of the IMF's structural guidelines (although we have already missed the deadline of August 1)," Zhelezniak wrote.

It will be recalled that it will be possible to open a separate declaration only with the consent of the declarant.
