The USA imposed sanctions against companies that helped Russia circumvent sanctions

The US has imposed sanctions on 22 individuals and companies that helped Russia circumvent restrictions on its military-industrial complex.

This is reported by the US Department of Treasury.

Among those sanctioned are arms dealers Igor Zimenkov and his son Jonathan, as well as arms dealer Aleksandr Volfovich, his sons, and the GBD Limited company.

Several Cypriot companies were also sanctioned.

The Zimenkovs supplied sanctioned Russian and Belarusian companies with military and dual-purpose goods, as well as helped conclude various deals through a network of shell companies.

In particular, through the Singaporean company Asia Trading & Construction PTE Limited and its head, Serena Bee Lin Ng, the arms dealers sold Russian helicopters to one of the Latin American countries.
