The USA does not yet plan to hand over the Patriot systems to Ukraine — Pentagon

The Pentagon is studying additional possible solutions to support the Ukrainian air defense system and notes that "all of the capabilities are on the table."

"Air defense continues to be a top priority for DoD and for the international community when it comes to supporting Ukraine. In terms of any type of Patriot battery from the U.S. Right now, we have no plans to provide Patriot batteries to Ukraine," said the spokesperson of the US Ministry of Defense.

At the same time, the US states that the decision to transfer Patriot systems is its sovereign decision but will require discussion with the NATO Allies.
