The US to help Ukraine with long-term financing for the development of the "military of the future"

The United States will assist Ukraine in building the "military of the future," which will include modern combat aircraft, tanks, armoured vehicles, and an integrated air and missile defence network.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced this during his speech in Finland.
He also spoke about the state's ammunition production capacity and the training and maintenance of combat readiness of forces and equipment.
"America and our allies and partners are helping meet Ukraine's needs on the current battlefield while developing a force that can deter and defend against aggression for years to come," Blinken said.
It will be recalled that in January 2023, the United States decided to transfer 31 M1 Abrams battle tanks to Ukraine. In May, the US also approved the sale of the NASAMS system and equipment to Ukraine worth about $285 million.
Following Joe Biden's meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on May 21 at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, the US announced a $375 million military aid package for Ukraine.
