In addition, Myanmar, the People's Republic of China, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran, Nicaragua, the DPRK, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were recognised as countries of "particular concern" under the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998.
