The United States has information that China is considering a possible supply of lethal weapons to Russia — U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in the CBS program Face the Nation

"In China, there is really no difference between private companies and the state. We have seen them provide non-lethal support to Russia for use in Ukraine. Based on the information we have, they are considering providing lethal support as well," Blinken said.

President Joe Biden expressed deep concern to Xi Jinping about this and outlined that it would cause "serious problems" for the countries' relations.

At a security conference in Munich, Blinken met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, and also expressed concern about China's possible supply of lethal weapons that Russia would use in a war against Ukraine.
