The Ukrainian Navy has been controlling the Boiko Towers area in the Black Sea for over a year

The Ukrainian Navy has been controlling the part of the Black Sea where Boiko Towers are located for more than a year.
Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk said this in a comment to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
This is about fire control. The Russian military stopped entering this area after the loss of the Vasily Bekh ship, which was transporting weapons and personnel to Zmiinyi (Snake) Island.
Pletenchuk said that the hardest part was getting to the gas and oil drilling platforms on rubber boats because of the constant danger from the air.
"To get to this distance on rubber boats, you really need to be very tough guys, which is what the DIU boys are," Pletenchuk said.
It will be recalled that Ukraine has regained control of the so-called Boiko towers, gas and oil drilling platforms off the coast of Qırım, which Russia occupied in 2015.
