The UK is focused on long-term support for Ukraine, not on aircraft

Defense Secretary Ben Wallace noted that the UK government would not be sending fighter jets to Ukraine soon.

BBC reported this.

"I don't think it's going to be in the next few months or even years that we are going to necessarily hand over fighter jets," Wallace said.

The Head of the British Ministry of Defense emphasized that the international community has already provided Ukraine with thousands of surface-to-air missiles, drones, and long-range missiles.

In his opinion, if the UK government were to hand over fighter jets to Ukraine, it would also have to provide around 200 Royal Air Force personnel.

He added that 97% of the Russian army is currently concentrated in Ukraine. The level of their attrition is now the same as that of the troops during the First World War. And the Russian success rates are a matter of meters, not kilometers.
