The so-called "court" in temporarily occupied Kefe (Feodosiia) sentenced Iryna Danylovych to seven years in prison

Danylovych is an activist who defended the rights of doctors on the temporarily occupied peninsula. She criticized the occupation administration for ineffective anti-epidemic measures during the pandemic. The activist worked as a nurse and provided comments to independent media.

In April 2022, Russian law enforcement officers kidnapped the woman. They tortured Danylovych and threatened to kill her if she did not sign the blank testimony forms. After she did so, she was charged with possession of explosives.
