The National Assembly of the French Parliament has officially recognised the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people — CNEWS.
MP Anne Genetet from the Renaissance presidential party submitted the resolution to the parliament.
The resolution was adopted by 168 votes in favour, with two deputies voting against it.
