The myth of Russia's unity is over — Italian Foreign Minister

Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, said in an interview with Il Messaggero that recent events in Russia have shown the weakness of the Russian government. 

"This internal escalation divides the Russian military deployment. This is the inevitable outcome when you support and finance a legion of mercenaries," Antonio Tajani said. 

He also said that the Russian front is now weaker. 

"One thing is for sure: today the Russian front is weaker than yesterday. I hope peace is closer now," the minister said. 

In particular, Antonio Tajani said that the EU countries would do everything to ensure that Ukraine joined the EU.
