The Ministry of Trade and Integration also added that the export control system, as a special area of trade policy, requires obtaining permits for the import, export and transit of dual-use goods.

"The 106 types of goods mentioned by Vice Minister Kairat Torebayev in response to a journalist's question on the sidelines of the Senate of the Parliament are included in the list of dual-use goods. We emphasise that export control of dual-use goods has been carried out for over 20 years in accordance with international export control regimes," the ministry assured.

It will be recalled that earlier, the Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Qazaqstan, Kairat Torebayev, stated that the country had banned the export of goods to Russia that could be used in war.
