The Ministry of Health recorded a 20% increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine, Ihor Kuzin, on average, about 40,000-45,000 cases are recorded per week. About six thousand children fell ill last week.

"The situation is predictable, it's been two years of the pandemic, and we have approximately the same periodicity. The number of hospitalizations is gradually increasing, and now about 7,000 of the 42,000 beds are occupied," Kuzin said.

Fatal cases, as Ihor Kuzin explains, are not frequent but are recorded.
