The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirms the visit of Chinese representative Li Hui to Ukraine

Li Hui, a Special Representative of the People's Republic of China, visited Ukraine for two days from May 16 to 17 - the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, the Chinese representative met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba.

During the meeting, they discussed topical issues of cooperation between Ukraine and China both bilaterally and within international organisations, as well as ways to stop Russian aggression.

"Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba briefed the Chinese government's special representative in detail on the principles of restoring a sustainable and just peace based on respect for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He stressed that Ukraine does not accept any proposals that would provide for the loss of its territories or freezing of the conflict," the statement reads.

The parties also discussed the long-term prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and China and agreed to intensify dialogue on key issues of the bilateral and international agenda.
