The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on UNESCO to respond to Russian threats to parents who refuse to send their children to schools in the temporarily occupied territories

In the areas of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions that are temporarily not controlled by Ukraine, the so-called "authorities" threaten local residents with the deprivation of parental rights.

"Moscow uses education as a tool of oppression," said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleh Nikolenko.
