The man who supplied US electronics to Russia was detained in Estonia

In cooperation with local law enforcers, the US FBI detained Andrei Shevliakov in Estonia.

Shevliakov transferred the purchased electronics to the Russian army and government.

In 2012, the U.S. government put Andrei Shevlyakov on the list of persons whose activities threaten the country's national security, so he used front companies and fictitious names to supply electronics.

Shevliakov was arrested on 28 March. During his arrest, 130 kg of equipment was confiscated.

If law enforcers prove his guilt, the perpetrator faces up to 20 years in prison.
