The majority of Europeans expressed their continued support for Ukraine in the Eurobarometer poll

The survey, conducted from October 12 to November 7, 2022, polled over 26,000 people from all EU member states.

When asked whether they approve of the bloc's position on supporting Ukraine, 74% of Europeans answered in the affirmative, and another third said they "strongly" approved.

73% of respondents said they agreed with the EU's financial, military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, as well as with sanctions against Russia.

However, the study shows a significant difference in percentages between the member states.

The highest support for Ukraine is in the Scandinavian countries, the Netherlands and Portugal, which is more than 90% of the population.

About half of the respondents answered positively in Greece, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
