The German government has approved the transfer of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine and allowed other countries to re-export them

The decision was published on the government's website.
Initially, Germany will provide 14 Leopard 2 A6 tanks from Bundeswehr warehouses.
"This decision is in line with our policy of supporting Ukraine to the best of our ability. We are acting in a closely coordinated international manner," said Olaf Scholz.
