The G7 finance ministers agreed on limiting the prices of Russian oil

The leaders of the countries hope that the decision will reduce Russian revenues and the Russian Federation's ability to finance the war.

Such changes will be made to the already adopted sixth package of sanctions in the event of a unanimous decision of the member states.

"We seek to build a broad coalition to maximize efficiency and call on all countries still seeking to import Russian oil and petroleum products to commit to doing so only at prices at or below the marginal price," the G7 countries' joint statement said.
