London, UK (Svidomi) — Ukrainian war correspondent Mstyslav Chernov's film "20 Days in Mariupol" has won the Best Documentary award at the British Academy of Television and Film Arts.
After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, journalist and photographer Mstyslav Chernov, along with photographer Yevhen Malolietka and producer Vasylisa Stepanenko, were the only international journalists working in Russian-sieged Mariupol. The Ukrainian premiere took place at the Docudays UA festival, where "20 Days in Mariupol" won the best film of the National Competition and the Audience Award.
