The European Union allocates €17.4 million for the digitalization of Ukraine

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine informed about this.

The Ministry noted that "the EU will help Ukraine to introduce effective and accessible public services, as well as to quickly respond to the challenges of war."

Funding is aimed at:

  • development of digital services and the Diia application;
  • improvement of data exchange between registers and state institutions;
  • development of electronic identification infrastructure;
  • improvement of the system of electronic management of criminal cases.

The project will be led by the Estonian Academy of E-Governance which has been cooperating with the Ukrainian public sector for 12 years and helping to implement electronic services.
