The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine: Russia focuses on destroying Ukraine's infrastructure

Russia aims to destroy Ukraine's infrastructure, not just energy sector facilities.

Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of DIU, said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

Russia is attacking Ukrainian defence industry facilities, headquarters and command and control systems with missiles and unmanned attack drones. For this purpose, the Russian defence industry produces up to 130 Kalibr or Kinzhal missiles per month, and up to 115 X-31 tactical aircraft missiles. According to the Intelligence Directorate, Russia immediately sends all products to the frontline.

According to Vadym Skibitskyi, Ukraine's energy sector is still in danger. The Russians have analysed massive strikes on the energy sector in 2022-2023 and identified critical targets.

"The enemy continues to regularly carry out satellite imagery of our energy facilities to carry out such strikes whenever possible or necessary. Therefore, the threat to our energy system remains," added Vadym Skibitskyi.
