"The basis of our resilience is people. Ordinary people. Ordinary Heroes"

"The basis of our resilience is people. Ordinary people. Ordinary Heroes"

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi addressed Ukrainians on the one-year anniversary of the full-scale invasion.

"These are people who took up arms to protect their families, their homes, and their state from the enemy's unprovoked and unjustified aggression. These are the people who are now, at this moment, defeating the occupier, holding their positions, freezing in the cold but native land, saving the lives of their fellow soldiers, helping the army in every way they can," said the Commander-in-Chief.

Zaluzhnyi believes that during the nine years of war, we have become stronger than concrete and steel because we remember the examples of the invincibility of the defenders of Donetsk Airport and Azovstal.

He thanked the Ukrainians: "Respect and deep gratitude to all who serve in the Armed Forces and other divisions of the defense forces of Ukraine. Bowing to the ground to everyone who helps, supports, and believes. Eternal memory and honor to all those who died for freedom."
