Kyiv, Ukraine (Svidomi) — the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine claimed about landing on a drilling platform near occupied Crimea and blowing it up, as the Russians had placed a radar station and equipment there to boost the operation of drones.

Russians used the platform to increase the range and radius of operation of their reconnaissance drones. Then, they attacked from there critical infrastructure facilities in the south of Ukraine. In addition, the Russians also installed the Neva-B radar station for detecting surface objects and situation monitoring in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

The special operation was carried out in the area of constant patrolling of Russian aviation and the fleet. During the operation, Ukrainian special forces managed to capture important Russian equipment and blow up the pole with the antenna.

The department noted, the movement of ships became safer and the capabilities of the Russians got limited in the northwestern part of the Black Sea after conducting the special operation.
