Six people killed by Russian shelling in the Donetsk region on July 12
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians launched 32 attacks with guided aerial bombs on Zavadske, Novoosynove, Vovchansk, Borshchova, Odnorobivka and Slobozhanske. Private houses, garages and outbuildings were damaged and destroyed. In Odnorobivka, Russians damaged one Ukrposhta vehicle with attack drones and destroyed another. In Vovchansk, one woman was injured by Russian shelling.
In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians conducted 3,830 attacks with bombs and X-35 missiles. The towns of Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Mykolaivka, Myrnohrad, Novohrodivka, Toretsk, Ukrainsk, Chasiv Yar, Hostre, Ostrovske, Dibrova, Zoria, Leonidivka, Marynivka, Mykhailivka, Novomykolaivka and Rivne were hit. Thirty-six residential buildings, medical facilities, an enterprise, administrative buildings, shops, educational institutions, vehicles, and critical infrastructure were damaged. Six people were killed. Twenty-two people were injured, including one child.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians attacked Nevske and Makiivka with artillery. Private houses were destroyed. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, the Russians shelled Nikopol and the community of Marhanets. Private houses were damaged. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russian army carried out 272 attacks with aircraft, MLRS, attack drones and artillery on Bilenke, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Prymorske, Stepnohirsk, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Levadne, Robotyne and Malynivka. 11 private houses were destroyed. In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Zolota Balka, Lvove, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Antonivka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Kizomys, Odradokamianka, Havrylivka, Vysoke, Pervomaiske, Honcharne and Kherson. An administrative building, an educational institution, a mobile phone tower, a shop and a dormitory, three multi-storey buildings and three private houses were damaged. Six people were injured, and one person was killed.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians fired mortars and cannon artillery at the communities of Snovsk, Semenivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired at the communities of Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Znob-Novgorod with attack drones. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties.
