Six people injured in Kharkiv region, including children aged two, five and fifteen

On the night of October 11, Russians launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile, an X-31P guided missile and 66 combat UAVs. The Air Defence Forces reported shooting down 29 enemy UAVs in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Kupiansk, Liubotyn, Cherkaska Lozova, and Kruhliakivka — a house and grass burned as a result of the shelling. Six civilians were injured, including children aged two, five and fifteen. One civilian died. Five houses, three outbuildings, a car and a summer kitchen were damaged. 

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka and Myrove communities. The Russian army used kamikaze drones and heavy artillery. A private house, outbuildings, and infrastructure were damaged. The regional military administration reported no casualties.

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, Russia shelled Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Siversk, Yampil, Hryshyne, Druzhkivka, Nelipivka, Novoselydivka, Novoukrainka, and Chervone. One civilian died and four others sustained injuries. There are 37 residential buildings, two administrative buildings, three cars, two outbuildings, four educational institutions, a gas pipeline, medical facilities, a shopping centre, a leisure facility, a library, office premises, two businesses, and a tractor damaged. Over the past 24 hours, 2,792 shelling incidents were recorded on the territory of the region. 

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia, Tavriiske, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Prymorske and Kopan. Over the day, 474 strikes were recorded in the region. The number of people injured in Zaporizhzhia increased to six. One hundred and ten residential buildings and infrastructure facilities sustained damage.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians fired unguided aerial missiles at Serebrianskyi forest and struck the area near Balka Zhuravka with a multiple rocket launcher. 

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, Russia attacked Mykolaiv and the Kutsurub community. The Russian army launched a double ballistic missile attack on a critical infrastructure facility in the city. The windows and roofs of four apartment buildings and the roof of one private house were damaged. Three civilians were wounded. The shelling of Solonchaky damaged a private house.

In the Odesa region, south of Ukraine, the Russians assaulted the Odesa district. A two-storey building was destroyed. Four civilians were killed, including a 16-year-old girl. Ten others were injured. The death toll from a Russian missile attack on port infrastructure (a major seaport in the south-west of the country) has risen to nine.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Mykolaivka, Khotin, Myropillia, Richky, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Svesa, Druzhbivka, Seredyna-Buda and Sumy communities came under shelling, destroying the post office building and damaging nine houses, two outbuildings, the administrative building of the village council, a mobile phone network tower, two buses, four tractors and two vehicles. A mill building caught fire.

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Pryozerne, Bilozerka, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Beryslav, Krupytsia, Tomaryne, Novotiahynka, Prydniprovske, and Mykhailivka were hit by Russian strikes. Three civilians sustained injuries. A critical infrastructure facility, a car dealership, a petrol station, four multi-storey buildings and five private houses were damaged. A trolleybus, a truck, ambulances and private cars were also damaged. 

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians attacked Hremiach, Pushkari, Progres, Mkhy, Mykolaivka, Kliusy, Mlynok, Huta Studenetska, and Moshchenka. The Russian army used mortars, artillery, FPV drones and unmanned fighting vehicles.
