Self-proclaimed President of Belarus says he will continue to help Russia deport Ukrainian children

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Lukashenka has said that he will continue to help Russia deport Ukrainian children.

The Belarusian media outlet Belta quoted him as saying.

"The fact that the Westerners are trying to turn the situation in the world against Putin, and now against me, to prosecute me, is simply ridiculous, I am not worried about it at all. On the contrary, we understand that we need to act," Lukashenka said.

The self-proclaimed President also noted that he has an agreement with Putin to finance such "children's trips" from the allied budget.

It will be recalled that Belarusian "public figure" Aleksey Talay effectively admitted Belarus' involvement in the deportation of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories during a broadcast on a propaganda TV channel.

According to him, children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are allegedly taken to "health resorts" for rehabilitation.
