Save Ukraine Charitable Foundation returns minors deported by Russia to Ukraine

The charitable foundation "Save Ukraine" returned to Ukraine 18 minors, most held by Russians in the temporarily occupied Crimea — Babel.

The publication writes that 15 children were held in Kezlev (Yevpatoria) in the Luchisty camp. One child was returned from the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, and another from Russian Anapa.

Most of these children are from Kherson. They were taken by Russians to Crimea allegedly for a holiday. But then they refused to return the children to their parents because of the "threat" of shelling.

Babel also writes that another girl ran away from her home in Kherson because she was afraid that the Ukrainian armed forces would allegedly rape her. However, she did not tell her parents anything.

"On the way, she met a woman travelling to Canköy. The girl was handed over to Russian troops and then taken to a camp in Kezlev," the statement reads.

The boy, taken to the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, was abducted from Kupiansk. He was held together with thirteen classmates who had not yet been returned.
